Hi! Welcome to my page. My name is Annie (no musical, redhead, or orphan references please, I've had enough of those to last a lifetime.)
I'm a teen from United States. I'm a little hesitant to share my age, and I'm hoping that people won't judge my artwork because of it. The reason I do share my age is because I hope to meet fellow teen deviants who share my interest in photography and writing.
While my gallery is 99% full of photos, I really love writing as well. I don't usually share any poems or stories, though, unless they're nearly perfect (or at least pretty good for a person my age). I think I might want to be a book editor, because finding other people's mistakes is easier than finding your own, right? So in addition to taking every English class my school has to offer, I enjoy capturing macro shots and finding beautiful days to photograph.
Unfortunately, I don't actually own a DSLR camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix, which is a pretty good point-and-shoot, but is very frustrating to work with. I have absolutely no control over aperture, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, etc. which leads to small errors you may be able to spot in my photos (i.e. over-exposure, crappy focus). I've been trying to save up for a nice camera, so I'm doing my best with what I've got in the time being!
